LCSWTherapist Details
As a therapist with over 30 years of experience I know that investing in oneself takes time and effort but also that the outcome is well worth the commitment – YOU are worth the commitment. By working together to address issues related to mood (anxiety, depression, anger), trauma history, relationship issues (family, friendship, and/or romantic), and/or life transitions we will replace unhealthy thought process and behaviors with ones that allow you to be the best version of you that you can be.
Regardless of the concerns you present in therapy, you can expect me to be compassionate, open-minded, empathetic, and empowering. I will help you understand the times and ways in which your thought processes and behaviors interfere in your life, gently challenge you to incorporate healthier ways of navigating life and all that it brings, and encourage you to engage in frequent self-care. Together we will create a space where you can feel safe enough to be your authentic self.
While I incorporate aspects of multiple treatment modalities into each session, I find that I most consistently rely on acceptance and commitment therapy, positive psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy, and a client centered approach to help facilitate the change you are seeking. All sessions are done via telehealth, which allows for ease of attending sessions as you are able to attend wherever works best for you. I accept clients who will self-pay as well as those with insurance.
Please reach out to me or visit my website to see if I will be a good fit for you. I would love the opportunity to work with you as you enhance your ability to thrive and not just survive.
