Therapist Details

Regardless of what brings you to counseling, my goal is to truly understand you as a human being and the unique perspectives, experiences, and identities that you bring into the room and how best to support and challenge you in your growth. You are the expert of your own life and my goal is to explore with you what your hope is for counseling and how I can help get you there. I view the therapeutic relationship as one of the most important factors in counseling and value a trusting, genuine relationship where clients feel comfortable providing feedback and collaborating on their counseling. I am passionate about providing a safe place for members of the LGBTQiA2S+ community and for those who are exploring different aspects of their identity. I work with individuals (13+) seeking support for trauma, religious trauma, grief, identity exploration, self-esteem, life transitions, anxiety, and depression. Also, I specialize in working with people who are questioning their substance use, struggling with addiction or in recovery. Lastly, I am passionate about working with queer couples. I use a integrative approach by utilizing Gottman Couples Method principles and Emotions Focused Therapy for deeper connection and lasting change.

Starting this process takes a lot of courage and vulnerability and I commend you for taking this step. My hope as your counselor is that you can bring your authentic self and feel safe to dive deep and gain insight and self-awareness so that you can create the change you are looking for in your life. I feel honored to have the privilege to walk alongside clients as they journey through life, to be entrusted with their stories and I am often inspired by my clients and the things they share.
