Christina Walthers, MS
APCTherapist Details
We queer folks navigate the world differently from cis-het individuals, and with that comes both unique challenges and a profound sense of beauty. While I work with people of all identities, including heterosexual and cisgender clients, my specialty lies in supporting queer, trans, and gender-diverse individuals. My goal is to create the safest, most affirming, and empowering space possible—where you can explore your authentic self without fear or judgment.
Together, we will work toward a deeper sense of connection with yourself and others and to foster more freedom and choice in how you live. In doing so, I will meet you right where you are, we will work together to help you live more fully and intentionally, and I will provide steady support every step of the way.
I am part of the clinical team at the Aguirre Center for Inclusive Psychotherapy, where we provide anti-oppressive, inclusive, and culturally-affirming services. If you think we could be a good fit, let’s arrange a free phone consultation! I’d be thrilled to join you on your journey and look forward to connecting with you!
I am working under the direction of Dr. Sophia Aguirre, Ph.D., CGP, FAGPA and under the supervision of Carrie Gensler, MA , LPC, CCTP, CPCS in pursuit of advanced licensure as Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia.
