I believe that the therapeutic relationship and the safe space in which it is built are the two most powerful tools that facilitate healing and growth. Authenticity, flexibility, creativity and open heartedness are extremely important in my work. I draw from many methods including person-centered, feminist, and internal family systems. My experience as a social worker and as a queer transgender person has helped me grow into an intuitive understanding of our complex humanness. I believe it is important to approach any struggles with compassion and curiosity. I love to explore how systems, structures and external expectations have molded you and may be keeping you from your full potential. We will deconstruct what is unhelpful and work to build a life in which you can thrive and be your most authentic self.
