Karen Lill, MA, LPC, ATR, ACS
LPCTherapist Details
I enjoy working with people who are striving to overcome their obstacles and meet their goals. These are people who are tired of struggling and want to achieve a thriving lifestyle. With the right guidance and support, we can get you to that point. More specifically, my interests and passions are working with anxiety and depression, gender and sexual minorities, survivors of sex-trafficking and relational abuse, the Gaming and Cosplay community, the Drag and Burlesque community, working with teens and young adults, and non-traditional therapeutic techniques (art therapy, sandtray therapy, therapeutic games).
One of the benefits of being a counselor and an art therapist is being able to tailor the treatment to you. We can work together using creative techniques and art therapy interventions or we can tackle your goals with more traditional therapy techniques. No matter who you are, I listen, I validate, I care, and I want to help you become your very best self. If you're looking for a safe place to process through what is going on in your life, we can work together to identify and process the patterns in your life, how to manage what life throws at you, or to dig in and heal the pain that you have been hurting from.
I am LGBTGEQ+, poly, and kink affirming. I work with both teens and adults. Come as you are and leave as you want to be.
I also offer consultation on using expressive arts in therapy for non-expressive arts therapists, the licensure process for LPCs in Georgia, and how to become an art therapist in Georgia.
